This morning before school as I was in my room getting ready I could hear my girls over the monitor we have across the house. One of my 5 year old twins was humming in a very loud, monotone, 5 year old endlessly repetitive kind of way. At first, I wasnt sure what she was humming and the initial cuteness was well on its way to annoying. Then out of nowhere shed shout out a so lets just praise The Lord! and then start humming again. I realized she was humming the kid song Father Abraham! (Yes, you can thank me for getting that stuck in your head now ) She must not have known all the words or maybe she just enjoyed the praise The Lord part. Either way it was a really great picture and made me smile. Whatever the endless noise we are dealing with is, it is silenced when we praise The Lord! Our praise takes away the power of our problems to bring us down. Our praise ushers in JOY and calms the chaos. We dont even need to understand or make sense of it all. Our praise puts everything in proper perspective. Thank you, Zoe, for reminding me of the power of our praise! So, lets just praise The Lord today! ~Amber Che
