This morning during church Zac took a prayer request card and wrote something like, Please help Collier Bryant and his horrible gas issues during class. He really needs help in order to stop disgusting the rest of the students with his tooty ways... And he signed it with Colliers teachers name like she had written it and showed Collier mid-service just to make him giggle. And I know this is all probably very disrespectful and what have you, but really, if God has no sense of humor - I probably have no shot anyway. :) So then Zac later pretends to slip it into the collection plate to be read in front of the congregation. Collier spends the entire closing prayer panicking with his fingers in his ears - basically sure that his Sunday school buddies are about to hear an elder pray about his bodily functions. So when his name and need fail to be mentioned and he was feeling relief, I had this horrible mother moment and said, well, good. I just hope they dont put you on the prayer list! Thats what they do for the really big issues. So honestly, I guess people should pray for my poor, sweet son with his awful, immature mother - who seriously needs to stop mentally composing a fake prayer list to be slipped inside his bulletin next week... :)
