This morning, for the first time in my life, I was able to honestly trust Him enough to say, If you will be with me and be my God, then I can do these things that you have for me to do. Im going to stop worrying about my pride and about my character flaws, because You have proven that you will deal with them, that you love me enough to discipline me when I need it. Im going to stop worrying that I wont listen to you and just make a diligent effort to listen. Im going to stop worrying about being hateful and just practice being more loving. Im going to stop coming down on myself for my impatience and just focus on being more patient. I think I needed to focus on the negatives for a season, because I was so clueless as to my conduct for so long, but now I think my focus needs to shift to who I am called to be, and will be through my cooperation with You, and not who I am right now. Thank You for helping me to see that it is not all about me and my effort, but about You and Your ability to accomplish what You desire to accomplish.
