This morning heaven has gained one of the bravest and strongest - TopicsExpress

This morning heaven has gained one of the bravest and strongest super trooper of a woman I have ever met. I couldnt be prouder to call this beautiful lady my step mum. She has been fighting for 2 years and never ever moaned. Even a couple of days ago she said to me Amie, its just one of those things, it is what it is. True inspiration and what a ride its been. Id like to thank the nurses and staff at East Cheshire Hospice who have looked after us all 24/7 since Thursday. Fantastic people and place. I am not the quietest of people and neither is my step sister! It became a home from home and we actually did have some good times which we knew Janet could hear and would have been smiling. Dancing around to uptown funk is a good memory. Along with Janet shaking her head to say no when I asked her if she could hear me! She was probably hoping Id shut up and give her some peace! Its been a very tough few days but together we got through it and will continue to stay strong and we are looking forward to partying hard at my 30th on Friday. I gave Janet a goal to get to the party, although she hasnt made it in person she gave it everything she had and will be looking down on me, Dad, Phil, Kate, Phil and Daniel and making sure we have a brilliant time. Me and my brother today will make the long journey home to Reading, the one we were dreading but knew was coming. I will be taking tomorrow off but hoping to see a few clients on Thursday to have some normal in my life before I turn 30! If you can and want to train let me know and Ill see what I can do. Back to normal routine on Monday. RIP my beautiful lady, so so so proud of you. Thank you for the last 21 years and loving me like your own. You can finally rest knowing you gave it your all. Love you xxx
