This morning i was very jittery, with species more restless than butterflies bouncing off the walls of my stomach. I was, after two years, going to step into the shoes of a student, at least in a conventional sense. The thought of being in a position where people could judge me and make assumptions gave me goosebumps. But when i reached in the campus of the National School of Drama, registered for its Theatre Appreciation Course and entered a room full of strangers, i felt the adrenalin kick in. Of course i got nervous before and during my introduction but after it, when i took back my seat, i could feel the back of my neck warming up and my breath seeking its normal pace. It has been decades since i first opened up about myself to a group of potential acquaintances but the fact that i go through this whirlwind of emotions even today makes me feel excited, adolescent and very joyful. Trust me, its a high. P.S: 400 applicants applied. 50 candidates selected. आज तो showoff बनता है यार।
