This morning i went to the bakery and ran into a bunch of people that i knew and then one of them made the mistake of asking me how my wife is doing.I imagine that my response was supposed to be that shes doing fine but the truth is that neither one of us are doing that great,we both miss Bruce everyday and some days are worse than others.I have not written any thing for a few days because nothing has inspired me to write and i dont want to manufacture something,i want it to be real.later today i went to Foodland and went past two young moms without saying anything but on my way past them for the second time one of them asked me if i was Bruce and i replied no Im Robert but everyone calls me Bruce.she introduced her self and said that she knew my wife and had just become my friend on Facebook and what i said touched her because she still misses her grandmother.I thanked her and gave her a hug and without her even knowing it she brightened my day.tonight i talked to a young friend because we were supposed to get together and talk days ago and although i had suspected that he might need my help it was quite the opposite he wanted to thank and encourage me and he did.I had long ago forgot that i tried to help him and his family adjust to moving to Kauai and it was nice to be told how much he appreciated it.He reminded me of just how much God loves us,not just when we are doing the right thing even when were not,He was willing to sacrifice His own Son so that we can accept His free gift and live with Him forever in Heaven.encourgment is the gift that never goes out of season,give it out as often as you can because you never know who may need it,i did.
