This morning my heart swelled as I walked Mireya to her class. It was very bittersweet for both of us as she has not stepped into a classroom in three months! Bitter because I have opted to place Mireya back in fourth grade. She was struggling in homeschooling with EVERYthing. She was getting one days worth of instruction in one week. There was no possible way for her to keep up. For her sake, I decided it would be better for her this way. I did not want to set her up for failure. Sweet because after all this time, her journey, instead of having a bad outcome is completely positive. Besides minor symptoms, her Chiari has held back so much. She still has TINY headaches, which can be controlled with Tylenol. Nothing major. She has made so much progress, in leap ands bounds! I only have one word, BLESSED. Thank you all for your thoughts and continued prayers. As her name proves, MIRACULOUS, she truly is a miracle in my eyes!
