This morning, on my daily commute, a woman decided to pull up beside me (using the service shoulder, as I was in the fast lane) during rush hour gridlock to inform me that I am supposed to pull up to the bumper of the car in front of me when traffic is at a standstill. Now, I had been keeping about a 1-2 car distance. Please also note at this juncture that just 5 minutes prior this woman very nearly rear ended someone.
