This morning round 5 am I lost not only my father but one of my best mates. He was the person who taught me right from wrong and how you should treat other people. One of his favorite saying was Never say something about someone when you are drinking in the pub, that you wouldnt say to their face when you are sober He taught he to play rugby league and cricket and enjoyed nothing more than watching a game of soccer at Phillips Park while having a tinny. He was always there to give me advice if I needed a chat about something that was on my mind.The last few years since mum died have not been kind to dad but he was doing his best to deal with his health problems. I am going to miss our discussions on the best way for Wests to win another comp, but at least I have the memories of the 2005 win which we watched together. I am going to miss you Noel Edward I hope you have found peace and hope your soulmate Ruth was waiting for you as you took your final journey. RIP. Love you mate.
