This morning started out as a disaster right from the get go. Pat was in the works of putting in the exhaust fan in the bathroom. It needs to be ventilated which there was already a hose type thing going up thru the ceiling to the roof but the owners prior used it as a vent for their dryer. It was crammed full of lint--well so we thought--Pat took the cap off the vent on the roof so we could put a ram rod down through the tube and get the lint out (the tube is duct taped with a plastic bags around it to catch the lint)--it turned out that the tube was not just full of lint but a huge hornets nest is taking up much of the tube and yes the hornets are still alive!! Pat sprayed the nest from the top and put his walker in high gear when the stinging critters started to come out--oh my--now that was funny as hell! So needless to say we stayed in the house for much of the day cause there are hornets having a party around the outside of the house. I have to work the early shift (go in around 3am) and it would really suck if I forget to close the door as I leave---lmao. I see a porta john in the future cause this bathroom is never going to get done :(
