This morning, students, staff and faculty gathered for the Annual All-School Mission Trip Prayer Service. This Prayer Service, led by members of the Senior Class who participated in mission trips last summer, is organized as a time to pray and reflect on the way all Christians are called to participate in the Mission of the Church. Four seniors who traveled on one of the Mission Trips offered personal witnesses and encouraged Underclassmen to find their own ways to get involved. This year we honor a solemn anniversary. Sunday, November 16th will mark the 25th Anniversary of the the murder 6 Jesuits and two female assistants in El Salvador. Jesuit high schools and universities across the country will offer prayerful remembrances of these men and women and their work. Also remembered at todays Service were the four churchwomen, who were murdered during the Civil War in El Salvador as well, because of the ties that two of them had to Cleveland.
