This morning, thanks to Myu-san and to her car, we brought Girolamo to the vet in Shuri (Myu loved the name Girolamo, even if - she said - is a little warui...) and we discovered that Girolamo is not a boy but a... GIRL! The vet checked her carefully, even putting a kind of cotton-fioc up her little ass... he smelled (!) her cacca and said it was OK. Later on he checked it in a more scientific way, and... the baby is OK! We are happy. Shes just too small for her age - two months, but she looks like one month old -: when she was with the mother that abandoned her probably didnt get food enough. So the vet gave us some special, luxury food for underweight babies. He said that it will be easy - so small and cute - to find a new family for her. Our plan is to bring her to Oroku adoption event in a couple of weeks. What about the name? Satoko likes Otta (kind of Italian, feminine for otto, 8, eight, hachi), I like more Kurina (kind of Italian-Japanese: kuro = black, nero/a, ina because shes small, a little piccolina). Which one do you like more? Anyway: THANKS to the ones of you that gave us donations. We could pay the vet, and save her little life, thanks to YOU!
