This morning the boys got the chores done quickly in hopes of getting to go rabbit hunting. G-Man led the charge as usual and had breakfast planned out! G-Man Dad, since everything is done can we go rabbit hunting this morning? Punchy I would REALLY like to go rabbit hunting! Me Why do you boys want to go hunting for rabbits so bad? G-Man So you can make us stew and then some rabbit and dumplings in my dutch oven! Me Well, that is a good reason. Hunting should always be about feeding your family first. So what are you feeding us this morning Sir? G-Man How about some fried egg and bacon sammiches? That sounds really good this morning... Me Yessir they do! You boys get everything ready and I will get the cast iron heated up and going Our lives are very blessed.. and even more so because of the family time we get as a result of cooking in cast iron!
