This morning was a reconnection for me with someone I knew back in a past life. Sarah Dewey-Beck, owner of Becks Farm, and I grew up together, and spent a lot of our lives at Eastminster Pres., attending this or that youth group functions. Sarah is three years younger than I, so when I was special music for whatever, Sarah was there listening and singing along. Sarahs parents, David and Sally, were in the Wichita Choral Society when I was conductor, back in 2000, too. But Sarah and I havent seen or talked with each other in.... 40-ish years, so this was real special, cuz she asked Robin Roberts & Billie Preston to play at her orchard. Real good to reconnect, Sarah! You can bet we will be back!!
