This morning we are blessed to celebrate the ordinance of baptism. Both Roberto Guillarmo and Douglas Wakefield III have made recent decisions for Christ, and are following through with that decision by joining with our body of Christ at Folly Beach Baptist Church, where we pledge to love and disciple them to grow in spiritual maturity and service to our Lord. Uniting with a church is an important for step in establishing a walk with the Lord, a necessity. So this morning, we will look at the reasons why we have church, why we are to not only attend, but love the church; why we must invest of ourselves in the church, and grow and actively engage in service to God through the church. Our text is Ephesians 5:25-32. Join us this morning for the special time of worship at 11 AM, Sunday School at 9:45 AM. And speaking of Sunday School... SUNDAY SCHOOL VISITATION is at 4:00 PM today. We need all Sunday School teachers and deacons to join together and visit our members we have not seen in a while. One of the great things about being a Christian is to have a Christ-like concern and love for His people. After all, we are family, one body with Christ as the head. Class members are encouraged to participate as well. ALSO... Tonight at 6:30 PM is our first rehearsal of the patriotic musical, This Is My Country. Each year we look forward to this celebration of our liberty- liberty in our nation, and liberty in Jesus Christ. We will once again have voices from all three churches on the island. If you have never sung in a choir before, this is a great time to get your feet wet! So, join us in the sanctuary for this great time of song and fellowship, giving thanks to God for is provision for our country. Blessings!!!
