This morning we were at Or Tambo airport (Johannesburg) on our return to Lusaka. We had big hassle checking in, it was bedlam! Eventually we went through and arrived at the specified gate and went through no problem and got on the bus taking us to the plane. There were 43 passengers on the bus and the driver drove and drove then he returned to where we started from and so on and then we realised he was lost. Eventually he found the spot where our plane was supposed to be parked and lo and behold the plane had taken off without us. Would you believe that? It left 43 passengers behind...would you believe this of an airline like South African Airways who charge a forturne? They never realised they were 43 passengers short!!! We got home eventually on the next flight after lots and lots of arguing. I hope I dont see that airport for a long time, the security was never alerted, we could have been hijacked they wouldnt have known a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy birthday South Africa 23 years of independence!!!
