This morning while walking up the sidewalk holding Emmas hand, Noah was walking behind me. Emma said, this sun is so bright I feel like Im blind. Dad you have to show me where to walk! Noah said immediately, Not me, as long as I walk in daddys shadow he is big enough to block out the brightness. In that little conversation I was reminded of two great truths of God. There are time that we face storms and obstacles that are blinding. We must hold His hand and allow Him to guide our steps because we cant see the way. There are other times in seasons that God leads and we must stay behind Him and allow Him to walk ahead enough to cast His shadow shielding us from the brightness that would blind us. Im thankful for His reminder this morning from my First and Second grader!
