This morning whilst shopping at Tesco I overheard a lady whilst serving at the checkout saying her grandchild had been born 10 weeks early and was now 11 days old and in intensive care. I could see it in her face. Give her hope I was hearing so I just came out with it and said my boys were born 13 weeks early he will be ok. Then another guy joined in as he heard me and said see there is hope see all will be well. She immediately went for being slumped in her chair to sitting upright her eyes lit up and said and they are ok now I said yes. She then went on to ask lots of questions which I answered with the shortest way possible as I could see another customer was coming to be served. As I left she thanked me for sharing my story. It doesnt matter where we are or how insignificant we think we may be to people we can all give hope to others by being open and willing and observant to those around us.
