This mornings AZ Daily Sun, Flagstaffs local paper, headline reads: Noose Tightening in Flagstaff Jewelry Store Heist and goes on to explain a local robbery and two black males who allegedly (allegedly/presumed/innocent-until-proven-guilty, right?) were involved. This headline is NOT OK! To metaphor Flagstaffs police system off a history of the unwarranted execution and lynchings of minorities is tragic and embarrassing. I post this on Facebook because many of us here in Flagstaff know people who work as a part of the AZ Daily Sun and I urge you to email or call them today and let them know this type of journalism is unacceptable.
