This new team of advocates God has brought to beauty for ashes uganda is beyond a blessing to my heart. These women LOVE big our precious mamas. They are selling things in their home. private messaging everyone they know, asking for donations instead of christmas gifts. They are loving big. And ya know what? Their lives are being changed. SO many of them are writing me and telling me how this has changed them. God uses the lowly things of this world to do amazing, beautiful work. He is using the cast asides of Uganda to change OUR hearts. Sure, our donations get to change things in Uganda - but they will change us too. THIS. THIS is why I love how God funds things bit by bit....because we are ALL included. He could have funded school fees with a big hefty check for 50k...but instead He chose to use US. $10 at a time. A $100 check that we didnt expect. A college student saying she can do $20. A child offering her $10 and asking others to match it. THIS is the kingdom. THIS is beauty. THIS is being a part of miracles. I am so very honored to get to be a small little part of His great adventure that is rescuing, restoring and redeeming things as He offers beauty for ashes. Thank you sweet Jesus for letting me watch you not only change Uganda, but change so many of my dear friends here too.
