This next summer, July 17th-19th, BOLD and GOLD are partnering with the Chris Hooyman Outdoor Education Fund (CHOEF) for a benefit climb of the majestic Mt. Rainier. We have space for 9 aspiring mountaineers on this 3 day climb of Mt. Rainier, the most prominent peak in North America and the most heavily glaciated mountain in the lower 48 United States. You will work as a team as you gain 9,000 feet of elevation to attempt the summit at 14,411 feet, learning technical skills such as how to use an ice axe and crampons in the process. No experience is necessary; all you need is the desire and determination to meet the challenge of the summit while supporting a great cause! All proceeds go to the BOLD & GOLD scholarship fund, helping the youth from our community get out and explore our wild lands.
