This not for sympathy, its to make you laugh or at least get a giggle. I’m famous in the Australian concert world. You say how? How could I be semi famous so far away? Well this is why, In 1990 I was with the Mac and we started the Behind the mask tour ( My favorite Mac album) and every thing went wrong in the first show. The smoke machine was turned on and didnt turn off until they unplugged it. They reset it but it had to be manuely pumped so when they hit the switch it would turn on . The next night I pumped every time it stopped and went back to my spot behind Mick. I must have pumped it 5 or 6 times that night. We had the next day off and we all went in to fix all the things that went wrong. The 4th night was another show in the same place. When the smoke machine turned off and I got pissed and pumped the shit out of it. When the pressure built up that cape blew off and hit me in the for head. It knocked me in the air and vertical and on my back out cold. No one told me we got one state side on the day off. The Australian crew laughed at me for the 3 months we were down there and said I’ll be famous as the only one to get knocked out by a smoke machine. My next knocked out was by a camera man following me to close during a live video shoot and knocked me out and it was like being hit by a car, but that wasnt funny. I hated working with vidiots. I’ve had allot of blows to the head and those were the ones the pushed me over the edge and I’ll never recover. I have serious TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and it’s why some of my rants need to be translated from Reedorant. Other than that, all’s good here in Winona and better than ever. This is only to make you laugh like the Aussies did.
