This now successful project entitled, Humans of New York began as an experiment in photography by a struggling photographer. Instead of looking at capturing something exotic, this bold photographer decided to use his profession instead to connect with other people, getting a glimpse of their lives. Unknowingly, he created a culture of positivity and soon his project began to get much attention via social networks.
