This old Kustom,the Bronze Goddess... was built-customized after being owned only a week from being bought as a brand new car! Its owner [Daryl Newman]Odessa Texas I believe the owner and town are correct] started building it then and it had gone thru many phases of custom additions over the years/many changes.. it was a daily driver and was shown too.. It had over the years been powered by many engines too- a blown 426 hemi- a 392 carbed hemi-1 348W motor- a 386 chevy and later as found an Olds engine..... it was stolen at least once and ended up in a junk yard in Missouri where my brother Reggie BOUGHT IT AS A ROLLER WITH NO PAPER.... It was then sold as a project to a friend of ours,Justin Ware,who is currently re doing it pretty much like it was in the day. He is however adding a slight twist of his choice of drivetrain,a brand new Cadillac engine and Hydromatic from a 58 Cadillac/all remanufactured.... he is getting along well with the project and has been it touch with the builder and his son who are cooperating with the build and have gave him the original title to use too! he will get it done and I will add a finished picture then..... here are some pics from its heyday of show condition......Actually there are even added touches not shown in pics like a pancaked trunk and hood and a 56 Olds dash and more it will be killer...thanks to Reggie for seeing and saving it and Justin for the hard wok hes adding to its revival....
