This old world seems to be growing worse and worse. Judging from the Headlines, it seems like chaos has become the norm. We know from the Bible that all of this is a part of living in the last days before Christs return. It used to be, that here in the Heartland of these great United States, we were sheltered from a lot of the horrific things going on in the world, but in the Headlines of the past week, weve learned thats not true anymore. We lost our innocence here in Oklahoma, when Timothy McVey concocted the Ok City bombing some 19 yrs ago. But if we know Christ as our Savior, we know that this world is not our home. Our Citizenship is in Heaven. There is the constant reminder that we dont belong here, when we see the evil in the world. We are aliens in this place. Theres going to come a day when God the Father says go and get my Children, its been long enough. 1Th 4:16 - 18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
