This one has some good lessons in it for NEWBS and the UN DEDICATED. The reload: This is an SR9c (compact) and is the 1st time Angie has shot it. It has a grip extension on it because the grip is abbreviated for carry. This gun will take 17 round mags with out the frame extension but I use it because I know what to expect from it. And I wanted her to feel comfortable holding it with all her fingers She cant drop the mag because she is gripping the extension. Thats why it stayed with the frame. Its a training issue. The 10 round magazine fits flush to the frame and will fall free as it did for her. Also you will see she seems to struggle with the sling shot reload. Compacts have stiff springs. The movement is short for reloading providing the magazine drops,slide stays back etc. She does not know this and that is why she seems to struggle. Loading from empty is even harder because the slide needs to be moved even farther and does require some strength she has not developed yet. Thats why I train her with the revolver. Her usual bed size gun is a full size all steel 19 rounder (Tanfoglio Witness) that is a real softy to rack and shoot. This was how we spent her lunch hour So the videos are rushed. She is pretty awesome and Im lucky to have her. We almost met years before at this gun range but she was late and I went on with out her. We met again years later and we have been together every day since.
