This one is a tuffy. Today was this awesome guys last day coaching baseball with the Oak Hills Baseball program. He is starting a new job that doesnt allow the time and dedication it takes to be a productive coach. Being with this amazing program has forged friendships that we cherish and that will last forever. ♡ It has been a major part of Shawns identity, and ours as well. He has put endless hours and sleepless nights into being the best coach he could possibly be! These coaches, players and parents have become apart of our family, our dinner conversations and our lives whether they knew it or not. He has reached some of his highest highs being a part of this team. Ive watched him beam with happiness and grovel with frustration from one day to the next all in the name of being a dedicated coach. And I know for a fact he wouldnt trade in one single moment. Well, maybe one or two ;) Its going to be quite the adjustment (for everyone, lol) for him to be in the stands instead of on the field. A big THANK YOU to Jason Story, the best head coach around! for taking a chance at the very beginning on a guy you had just met while Oak Hills was being built. Im sure hes going to miss those 5:00 am meeting calls most of all. Lol Its been real yo! Peace! ;•}
