This one of those mornings that driving through Sauget IL was an adventure. For my non local friends there 4 clubs that are the "after party" for when the bars close in STL. I had just crossed the RR tracks at Cerro Copper when I saw a person walking right toward me in my lane. I changed lanes to avoid the woman and she lunged toward my car. By the grace of God, I missed her and so did everyone else after me. I did see a lot of swerving in my review mirror. I pulled off the road and called 911. By the time I was able to get turned around, the police were on the scene. After the officer placed her in his car I was able to speak with him. I told him about her lunging at cars. He said she was getting arrested for public drunkenness. The thanked me for making the call and letting him know about her actions.
