This page is more about my work, than it is about me. With a lot going on in our businesses and the sort of recognition and exposure we are getting, I feel that this channel is the best way to communicate everything to the public. Its like a Business Blog and I will be sharing my experiences. You never know, it might even help you with your own business! And in case you dont know much about my businesses, here is a quick snap shot... Our Company - DDE - has recently been Ranked 4th in the Dubai SME100, Top 100 Companies of Dubai. 2nd in Growth in our category and 10th in Innovation! Which both my partner (Shahin Khodjasteh) and I are very proud of! This wouldnt have been possible without the great team of people that work within our organisation. We are now at 115 and counting and will probably be closer to 200 by the end of the year! We represent some of the best brands in the worlds of Action Sports, Lifestyle, and Cycling. And we work with the best Key Accounts in the Middle East region! Distribution & Retail is our thing, and we are scaling up our business rapidly by adding new brands for distribution and expanding our horizons for existing and new brands. And we will be opening 4 to 6 new stores before the end of 2014! In our Action Sports & Lifestyle Divisions we represent amazing brands such as Volcom, Etnies, New Era, Gildan, Anvil, and many others. And in our Bike Sports Division we represent great brands such as Giant, Mavic, Topeak, Giro, and Fox to name but a few. Our Retail arm consists of home grown concepts such as Rage & Ride Bike Shop, with a Top Secret Concept about to be launched soon! And we are also finalising Master Franchise Agreements with other great and established global retail concepts. I am also a Partner at Salt & Pepper Events, which is an Award Winning Event Management Agency, that is run by my Partner - Philip Westphal and his great team of professionals! Salt &Pepper has won multiple awards within the Industry and has done great work for global brands like BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Audi, GM, VW, P&G, Nokia, HP and many others! I have also recently started another company called SoundMe and we specialise in Licensed Music for the Retail & Hospitality Sector. My partner Terry Borden is busy building it up and already has some of the best possible accounts on board. But there is bigger news coming for this business and its certainly an exciting time ahead! For the moment my big focus is on the growth of DDE and we are anticipating a tremendous amount of growth over the next 5 years, without doubt!
