She has been assessed and denied access to live changing SDR surgery on the NHS. This surgery is life changing it will take away all the nasty spasticity in her legs and will take away the pain she suffers at night through spasms. With the spasticity removed she will be able to learn to use her limbs more naturally and will be able to learn how to sit up properly, maybe crawl around on the floor and play with her sister or maybe even to walk with sticks which means she can play with her friends - things the rest of us take for granted. Her parents are fundraising for Cerys to have this operation in the US with Dr Parks at St Louis Hospital.
