This particular Buck has made a connection with me. We see each other & approach each other. Then just hang out as I talk to him a kneel down in this field. Seems to me a meeting place for us.Just love his company when he lets me get this close to him. I still respect his space since this is a Buck & would not want to get him to nervous. This is Pike Island, over 3-miles of shoreline & an extensive forest interior. The outer east side of the island is just beyond the trees where the Buck is standing. There is a trail there & you might see a jogger or hiker walk by. Nobody ever hikes thru the interior like I do & makes an effort to bond with these wonderful animals.
