This past Friday, our bartender Kelly helped a client named Ron. Ron explained to Kelly that he was looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for his wife Bernadette. Ron and Bernadette met in high school and were best friends. They ended up going to separate colleges but made a joking “pact” that if they couldn’t find someone to marry in college, they could always marry each other. Kelly instantly had a bangle in mind, but was waiting for the exciting finish to Ron’s love story. Ron explained that 7 years went by and they ran into each other on a rainy Sunday about three weeks before Valentine’s Day. They went out to dinner that night and the rest is history. Every year, Ron and Bernadette celebrate their love story right around Valentine’s Day.
