This past Monday morning, I had WIND 560am on the radio, and Amy Jacobson was leading. I am a newbie to WIND and I had only heard her show with Big John a few times since switching stations from WLS last week; therefore, I am not up anything going on over there. I liked Amy much more in the lead host role than as Johns sidekick. And it was also a treat for me because John Tillman from the Illinois Policy Institute was guest hosting with her that day. I figured Big John had the day off. Then I learned that Big John would not be back to WIND when they brought it up on air and the program director made his speak. Thats no big deal for me. While I do not dislike Big John and I only heard him a few times; I wasnt a huge fan. Yesterday, when I was putting my makeup on, it hit me: Dan Proft will be on WIND. I can feel it. To my delight, Dan Proft guest hosted the show with Amy today. I was thrilled. It was a great show. It was great to hear Dan actually get to talk politics and speak freely for a given length of time without being cut off for one reason or another. Hes to guest for for a few days they said. I hope he guest hosts a lot. Even better would be if he joined the show. In any event, hearing Dan on the radio this morning just made my day. https://youtube/watch?v=X_I4wtNPv5w
