This past Thursday, November 13, 2014, I decided to treat Susu to some popcorn, diet Pepsi and a good movie. Qais, my youngest, suggested “Interstellar”. Susu and I, simply admire Qais’s movie choices. So be it, “Interstellar”. To our sheer delight, in 169 minutes, Christopher Nolan, captivated every cell in both our bodies, mesmerized us beyond imagination and propelled us into the fifth, sixth … Dimensions. We have not been so wholly involved since Stanley Kubrick’s Space Odyssey 2001. This is pure catharsis. Please do take the time to see this marvel, for it is absolutely worth every piaster. So, the 0 dimension is a dot. While the first dimension is a line. Whereas, the second dimension is a plane. Meanwhile, the third dimension is where density becomes apparent. Space-time is the fourth dimension. The fifth dimension is, well too difficult for me to fathom. Once more, I have watery eyes after seeing a fabulous movie. Again, reality strikes me in the face, walking towards the parking lot. Saddened by the sheer ultimate dimension that we are living now, in our region. Isis, Isl, Daesh and all such sheer inanity is propelling us back into the dark ages into the abyss.
