This past Wednesday was our first meeting of this school year, and we filled the classroom! Thanks to all for coming :) Ive attached in another earlier post the slides from this meeting and wanted to post about what youll see in the next couple weeks at Programming Club. 9/3 — Introduction to JavaScript with Parrot AR Drone: Well be discussing some programming foundations with a huge quad-copter. More specifics on this in a subsequent post. 9/10 — First Day of Curriculum: Well get started with CodeHS and jump from some of the basics we learned on 9/3. Getting right into it! // For unlucky APCS applicants Were sorry you were not selected for San Mateos AP Computer Science Program. Wed like to underscore that the selection of the students was completely random, and we had no influence this. If you are still interesting in learning the great wonder and strength of computer programming, youre absolutely in the right place! Well be starting to teach on 9/10 but recommend attendance on 9/3 as well.
