This past couple of weeks Ive been listening to almost nothing but operas. While this is not that weird(for me), the great thing is that its the full operas not just arias. They are all available on youtube! Just search any opera full and its on there now. and any aria as well. It took a long while for this to happen. The great thing is you can listen to many of the great opera houses like the Met or la Scala, Also from legendary performers that are now dead. I was thinking back to when the only way you can listen to full operas in college was on LP in the library. This was the beginnings of MP3s /super slow internet and and my teacher yelled at me for trying to steal from musicians. I feel great I can listen to some of the lamer operas without much commitment and attempt to go through full bodies of work of great composers. My conclusion from trying that is famous operas are famous for a reason.
