My dress was purchased at a Sears in Long Island for $98.00 my veil cost $110,00 . we had our reception in the church basement and served coffee punch ,cake , and ice cream We were married on a Friday evening at 8:00 in the evening because most everyone coming were farmers and had cows to milk and annals to feed . No one would have come because they had their farming chores to do. I thank God for these years and have been so blessed with so much . I have the best husband and best friend I could ask for .
