This past week, The Red Umbrella launched its Educational Aid Programs in Saida, Lebanon. We taught girls ages 13-17 and women 20+. The classes were a complete success and our teachers will continue conducting classes while training select refugees to deliver the curriculum inside their communities. This will give women and girls a sense of purpose, as well as create a small stream of income for refugees who currently depend entirely on humanitarian aid for their survival.
