This past week has been interesting. I had to wait until the snow melted in my yard, so I could cut my grass! The trees in our neighborhood, and beautiful city, are in a full array of colors and these trees surprisingly still have a lot of leaves clinging to their branches. Yesterday, Evan and our neighbors young son, Brody were jumping and running through a couple piles of raked leaves. It was a joy to see them having so much fun. And the weather was so nice and the suns warmth was a welcomed comfort on our faces and bodies. As I try to schedule between raking more leaves before the snow fall coming this next week and cutting the grass one last time before winter. I am amazed how the summer temperatures and abundant sunshine of this past summer has so quickly become nothing more than a distance memory and the numerous summer outdoor activities are now dormant. With frost becoming more apparent on my windshield and lawn each week. And winterization of my vehicles and house becoming once again a necessity. This all can only mean one thing......two months from today is Christmas!
