This past week has been really tough but I think it really put mine and jesses views of what we do for the family into perspective. While Im here at the hospital, Jesse had to play the mommy role and it opened up his eyes into what it really is like to be a stay at home mom. It wasnt easy for him. For me, feeling trapped in this hospital, away from my home, my husband and my kids...Stuck with cafeteria food and unable to go anywhere...is just crazy!!! & all I could think of are those 8 month deployments Jesse has to do. Hes stuck on a ship in the middle of nowhere and away from us for quite a long time. Of course deployments are worse than what Im going through but i definitely appreciate what he does even more and vise versa!
