This past weekend I was busy participating in Grow uP Gamings 1st LAN (meetup.pt) which hosted the IESF qualifier for Portugal. The tournament was comprised of ~30 players, the format was 5 round swiss with 4 decks bo5-1ban into a top8 bo7-1ban single elimination format. I came through the swiss with a 5-0 score, taking the top spot. Got fairly lucky in some of my top8 and top4 games, and then had one intense ass series in the finals, where I was up 3-1, almost guaranteed the 4-1, and ended up going to the 7th game of Priest Control vs Warrior, which I ended up winning. :P I want to thank everyone for their continued support, uP for their work, and most importantly, team Coasts Josh Impact Graham for his incredible help with the strategizing for the tournament. Will be meeting up with Radu again next month @ Baku, Azerbaijan, cool stuff ;)
