This past weekend: *Went to a local business that was having a going out of business sale. For the record--- I have shopped there often enough to tell you that the prices were the same-- NO markdowns. Was made to look that way by how the tags were marked. . *Used a public restroom and the woman in the stall next to me used her foot to flush the toilet. (I am short, sit low, could see-LOL) Now, I HAVE to ask-- why would she not touch the handle to flush, but she HAD to touch the lock to open the door to the stall? THAT has just as many germs as the toilet handle! * I had the chance to see what CLASS is all about. You go girl! * My house smells AMAZING thanks to the herbs and veggies from Joseph and Beckys garden. The basil is so strong, but a beautiful scent. I need to have a rosemary bush inside to complement it. * Had a wonderful waitress at Red Lobster. She was older and I am guessing old school training. Most of the younger ones do not know how to service a table. AT ALL. *Calling all book readers in the Upper Perk area--- the Palm Post office/Matts Deli building has a free library outside by the UPS box! WHAT a fantastic idea! I was going to take First Wives Club, but then I thought that would be not fair to a reader since I can get it on my Kindle. Some good books were in there... Take a few up and then take a few home. * I miss Chicago. * I look forward to seeing this on my Timehop next year!
