This past weekend was a treasure! My wife and I got a chance to meet some of our dearest friends Betty Black and Kristen Black at the Walk a Mile in her shoes 5k walk in Riverdale supporting Domestic Violence awareness and forbearing with women that have struggled with this issue. I was burdened to know that there was an absence of men in relation to supporting this issue of awareness. As sensitive of an issue this is, I will not allow this to be swept under the rug as a “woman’s problem” this Is one of the many sin problems that only the Gospel can change and purify. I ask for my brothers in Christ on FB to join me in daily prayer over this issue of Domestic Violence as we must seek Christ for the core of our attitudes and actions to glorify Him and not ourselves. The family should reflect the person-hood of God and not what Hollywood/ Media portrays as “family”. This is an active fight that requires godliness and love beyond our own. #KeepPraying #ForBelievers
