This past weekend was absolutely a very busy weekend for the College – Year 5 & 6 Dinner, Grand Final for Public Speaking and Summer Sports Grand Finals for the ISA competitions forward with the Junior School Sports program and the NDJCA Cricket. To all the teams that contested the ISA Grand Finals on Saturday our congratulations. From the many games I had the privilege to watch, I was very pleased with the spirit and determination of the students competing. Whether SPC won or finished second, all teams gave of their best and that is a very important part of us being part of a competition. As you know, St Patricks College, Strathfield is a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition. As such, it is one of over 40 schools around Australia governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia. Most of these schools were established by the Christian Brothers. Reminder: Secondary House Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 19 March at Sydney Olympic Athletic Centre.
