This past winter, right around her 84th birthday, my mom, Saundra Gruber Honig was given the gift of rectal cancer. She didnt ask for it and she certainly doesnt deserve it but since learning her diagnosis she has courageously fought it and after weeks of chemo and radiation plus weeks of recovering from that pleasant experience she continues her battle tomorrow with surgery to remove the tumor. As she has always done, she has kept a great attitude, been optimistic and dealt with everything without complaint. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow as she faces this next step in her road to wellness.
