There is a huge potential for exchanges of goods, trading, cultural and economic cooperation between the two ancient and giant neighbours, notwithstanding an acrimonious media of India which has anti-China stance ingrained in its system. The top level officials, the PM Modi seem to understand this and hence have ignored the constant rants from the Indian corporate owned mainstream media which is blatantly anti-China and pro-US in its daily approach. Apart from the above mentioned cooperation, defense ties too have taken off with regular joint military exercises between the two armed forces.
