This photographer handled himself well. Civilian and military police need to be educated about the Constitution that they have sworn an oath to support & defend. Pay particular attention to what the military policeman reports over his radio about this situation. He reports that the photographer is a sovreign citizen, even though the photographer never identified himself as such. This indicates that the reports are likely true that civilian & military police are being trained that Americans who are affiliated with the Sovreign Citizen and Constitutionalist organizations are to be treated as a potential terrorist threat. If this doesnt worry you at least a little, it should. Military personnel are all trained that it is illegal to video or photo any military or government installation (even from public property outside the installation). This is 100% incorrect. You can look up the laws and legal decisions that say so yourself. Heres my point: we need to be questioning WHY the policy makers (who KNOW the law) are still putting training information out to make these folks believe that this is illegal AND a threat. Notice how the first MP approaches the photographer with his hand on his sidearm (outside his jurisdiction, by the way). Fortunately, a major shows up who just so happens to identify himself as a member of the Oathkeepers organization, and quickly, congenially, & professionally de-escalates the situation. To me, this was the highlight of the video. People like him give me the occasional ray of hope that we may still save our Constitutional Republic yet. God bless America.
