This picture is indeed a classic and one of my most prized possessions! It was made at the KP Building corner of the Fayetteville Square. Look close, and you can see Joe Collins standing near his shoe shop (down under the KP building). My dad, Gordon Barnes is the lanky frame with the rolled up sleeves and tie on) in the upper right-hand corner of the picture. Thats my mom, Sarah Lee Massey, pulling the wagon, with Coach Stevensons father-in-law, Mr. Clark (I believe I remember his name being Clark). The story goes that my mom lost a bet on Albert Gore, Sr.s election to Mr. Clark, so had to pull him around the Fayetteville Square in a little red wagon. When they got around to Fire Hall Hill (where Cahoots is now), he said, For Gods sake, Sarah, dont let go. Albert Gore, Sr. kept this picture hanging in his office for many years.
