This picture was taken around 8 months ago. The Beckers without a worry in the world. After a month long battle with what the doctors said was acid reflux, we took my Father to the E.R. nine days ago. Surgery was performed the next day and found my Dad to be in the advanced stages of pancreatic cancer. That night the surgeon told us there was a good chance that He might not make it home. Tears were cried, Rosaries said, sleep was lost and lives were changed that night. One moment at a time we have lived this past nine days and tonight my Pops will be at home, sleeping in his own bed. He knows what the future holds and is grateful for the life he has lived and also for the opportunity to say his goodbyes . As are we. Thank you for all for your prayers and support this past week.
