This piece of music, was also performed in front of the Forbidden City in China and its called, Nightingale. Yanni said, believe it or not, this piece was inspired by a nightingale bird that kept coming near his window every so often during a visit in Venice, Italy. As she proceeded to sing her song, he said it was so beautiful, he was completely mesmerized by it. He also mentioned in particular, that a Chinese flute, when played at high tonal registers, also reminds him similar to a nightingale bird. So, he decided to write a song using the Chinese flute. I cant think of anyone in this day and age whose New Age/Classical music transcends all boundaries the way Yannis music does. Hes transformed the daily lives of so many people around the world. His music truly heals, inspires, and reinvigorates. They say perfect pitch is an awesome gift thats rare to cultivate. If you could imagine playing any key, randomly on a piano, someone with perfect pitch can name the key played without looking at the keyboard. Its so incredible that Yanni has that gift. His music is like magic, and is truly awe-inspiring!
